Gan Kha Yee
Physiotherapist Specialised in Paediatric
As a dedicated pediatric physiotherapist with years of experience in the UK, I have cultivated a strong passion for empowering children with diverse needs to reach their full physical potential. My professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to evidence-based practices, continuous learning, and building meaningful connections with my young patients and their families. I hold specialised training in key therapeutic approaches, including the Introductory Bobath Course for treating and managing children with Cerebral Palsy, which deepened my understanding of typical and atypical sensory-motor development. I have also completed advanced training in Aquaepps Aquatic Physiotherapy, focusing on pediatric neurological dysfunction, and the Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) technique - Level C, which I apply to promote functional and purposeful movement in children.
My expertise spans assessing and treating babies aged 0-24 months, with a particular focus on early intervention using Bobath techniques to support sensory-motor development. I am skilled in advocating for the physical needs of children in school-based settings, collaborating with educators to develop inclusive strategies for physical education and play. My approach ensures every child has the opportunity to participate fully, regardless of their abilities.
Empathy, patience, and effective communication are at the core of my practice, allowing me to build trust with children who have complex communication needs and their families. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel motivated and confident to explore their abilities.
By integrating clinical expertise with a compassionate and individualised approach, I am committed to helping children overcome challenges, achieve developmental milestones, and lead fulfilling lives.

What is NHS, UK
With the experience working as a paediatric physiotherapist within the UK National Health Service (NHS), where care is grounded in early intervention, evidence-based practice, and strong collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. In this setting, therapy goes beyond exercises — it’s about setting meaningful goals together, empowering parents, and supporting each child’s development within their daily environment.
With this foundation, we aim to transfer these values and clinical skills to support children in Malaysia — offering thoughtful, child-led care that truly makes every step count.
We specialise in pediatric physiotherapy, with over 4-5 years of experience as a Qualified Physiotherapist in the UK, offering expert care for children 0-18 years old including age 0-5 years old motor development, neurological and orthopedic conditions etc. Our tailored treatments help children overcome movement challenges, improve motor skills, return to sports and achieve developmental milestones.
